Service Description
Periodontal maintenance/supportive care is an ongoing treatment plan designed to monitor and intercept on recurrence of gum disease. Periodontal maintenance appointments will be determined by the type of gum disease you have, your rate of plaque build up and your commitment to a high standard of self performed plaque control at home. We work closely with your general dentist, with periodic reporting on your periodontal health, following maintenance appointments. It is important that you still continue to maintain your regular dental check-ups with your family dentist, because maintenance appointments do not replace your regular dental checkups
