Service Description

Tooth removal (minimal trauma) Although we are committed to the lifelong retention of natural teeth in function and health, frequently we are faced with the difficult decision of how to most appropriately manage severely-compromised teeth. Minimal trauma extractions, focuses on gently severing the periodontal attachment using specialized instrumentation so that the tooth can be removed with the intention of preserving alveolar crestal height in all three dimensions. Thus minimizing the number of surgical procedures a patient may have to endure in the future to achieve optimal treatment results. Soft tissue grafting In some cases, a soft-tissue graft is needed to treat gum disease, reduce sensitivity and to cover unsightly exposed root surfaces to help prevent future gum recession. Bone grafting Bone grafting is performed to replace or build up jaw bone that has been lost due to periodontal disease, trauma or ill-fitting removable dentures. This is done to prepare a site for implant placement, replace lost bone due to disease or to improve upon existing aesthetics [pontic site]. Sinus elevation A sinus lift/elevation is a bone grafting procedure that is sometimes performed as a part of preparing an area for a dental implant. It is done when there is not enough bone in the posterior upper jaw for dental implants to be placed.
